There are several different kinds of growing systems. For example, soil systems, hydroponics, aeroponics, nutrient film techniques (NFT) floating rafts, and gutters with drip irrigation to name a few. Inside a greenhouse, or an indoor facility, all growing system components need to integrate seamlessly. This is accomplished through the Environmental Control System aka "the brains of your greenhouse" which integrates all of the other systems in your facility. Good Root's CEA systems are designed to provide optimal growing conditions for crops, while aiding in prevention of potentially catastrophic pathogen outbreaks, such as powdery mildew or botrytis. Pathogen outbreaks are often related to the environment being out of balance in some way, such as temperature, humidity, micro-climates, etc. If you are having challenges with pathogens, we would be happy to discuss the growing environment and make possible suggestions on how to bring it back into balance. Many times, the corrective measures are neither costly nor intensive. The solutions may be as simple as venting in the evenings, improving airflow, or keeping moisture off the floor. Every environment is different, but they often share similar issues. We are here to help if needed.
